The project story in more detail.
Ade worked as site foreman on guest room, suite and 10th floor fit-out works at Four Seasons Hotel Park Lane, including ceiling and drylining elements.
Project context
The important part of this case study is the setting around the work: the building type, the client requirement, the access conditions and the level of finish expected at handover.
The guest room and suite works involved labour-only installation of coffered ceilings in 240 room spaces across eight floors.
The 10th floor required management of workers, reporting to head office, trade coordination and delivery through to handover.
How the work was approached
The work was treated as a sequence of connected decisions rather than separate trade tasks. Planning, ordering, site access, supervision and finish standards all needed to line up so that each stage supported the next.
Ade managed the site team for carpentry and drylining elements, sequenced supply and delivery of materials and supervised works through completion.
The works included guest rooms, suites, the ninth-floor ownership suite and one-off bespoke ceiling details.
Outcome
The package contributed to the hotel fit-out and gave Ade significant experience in high-standard hospitality environments.
The project forms part of the practical site-management background behind Bayocorp's current approach.
Hotel fit-out environments place pressure on sequence, finish quality and coordination. That experience is useful in residential refurbishment because the same discipline applies to compact spaces and high client expectations.
